Peterhead Amateur Swimming Club

Welcome to the Peterhead Amateur Swimming Club Web site.

P.A.S.C. was established in January 1978 after Peterhead Caley Swimming Club & Peterhead Amateur Swimming Club amalgamated, the same year that the Peterhead swimming pool opened.  The aims of the club are to ‘Teach the arts of swimming, lifesaving, water polo, synchronized swimming and to recognize persons who by risking their own life rescue a person from drowning’. We now have more than 150 active members ranging in age from non-swimming 6 year olds up to enthusiastic Masters. Many of our members are competing well at District level, owed in no small part to the dedication and enthusiasm of themselves, their coaches and their parents. Club nights are held every Wednesday at the Peterhead swimming pool. Further training classes take place at various times Monday - Friday.  We are affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Swimming Association (S.A.S.A.). The club has been involved in learning many of Peterhead's children to swim following our local authority's decision not to include swimming in the curriculum.  Our committee are elected annually and are drawn from parents of swimmers.

This site has been set up for members, future members and parents. We hope you find it useful in keeping up to date with all the latest information from the club.
